| In the constant endeavor to guarantee the quality of its products, Dubar & Co. has always gone far beyond the norms established by the alcoholic beverage industry. In each stage of production, from preparation to the fermentation process to the distillation and aging of spirits, there is an ideal balance of technology and the richness of tradition.
Our water treatment plant constitutes a basic guarantee of purity. Internal controls include the use of chromatographic analysis throughout the entire production process. In fact, chromatography is continued through to the advanced stages of aging, as part of the final inspection. Our technicians also use a very fine filter to attain greater product clarity, eliminating even the most miniscule particles and impurities.
Looking ahead, we continue to adopt the needed skills of advanced technology. Our distillery, located in the outskirts of San Pedro de Macoris, features the computerized controls that supervise each stage of the distillation process, resulting in the most modern production technology in the Caribbean.
This facility is capable of managing 60% of the national demand, producing 40,000 liters of alcohol daily, well within its capacity to produce 50,000 liters per day.
In addition to cost efficiency, there is an important environmental benefit resulting from waste control. Derivatives from the distillation process are used to satisfy the demand for various grades of alcohol required in the perfume, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.

The entire aging process receives careful attention. In each of our cellars, precautions are taken to avoid taste alterations. The dimensions and scale of the oak barrels are precise. Each rum series is carefully registered and series numbers are never repeated, so as to ensure a precise production record.
Our rums are aged longer than the required standard. At Dubar & Co., our respect for tradition far exceeds established production norms.
We value the importance of our tasters and their ability to appreciate the nobility of our aged rums, through sensory analysis. The human factor is of vital importance and the taster has the final say before a series is approved for release.

To improve the operation of the distillery, the installation of a Krones bottling and packaging system has increased production capacity through a system which combines washing, filling, sealing, labeling and packaging at a rate of 340 bottles per minute.

Despite these many innovations, our work force remains our most valued asset. From technicians and lab personnel to the workers who roll their thundering barrels down our cellars, all of us are part of the same team spirit.
We are Dubar!
